my GazettE tattoo!
Before the photo, a story:
I walked into the shop, said hi to the artist I was sitting with, and handed over the printout I'd brought with me of what I was having done. Someone who was just hanging around, who must have been a friend of another one of the artists, apparently went to whisper something to that artist while she was sitting with someone. She came out to see what I was having done, to ask where the new characters were going, looked at everything for a couple seconds, then asked
"Is that for The GazettE?"
When I said yes, the other girl shouted "I told you so!"
While my artist was putting the stencil on, three of us had a mini gaze-squee-fest. They have just guaranteed that I not go to any other tattoo shop :D Meg (the gazefan artist) had said she'd seen Dir en Grey when they were here, but was disappointed... the other girl said she was trying to get Jess, the artist I was sitting with, to do a Miyavi tattoo for her. I said I saw Miyavi a few summers ago in Boston, and both were super jealous, haha. More talk of tour DVDs and how much we would LOVE to see GazettE here, and Meg and the other girl went off to play video games.
Once I was all done I checked online just to be sure, and told Meg that DIVISION was available on Amazon, since she didn't know they had a new album come out.
:D :D :D awesome trip to the tattoo shop!
And now... THE PHOTO.

Date: 2012-10-08 12:47 am (UTC)Kai was done by a different artist at that shop, Kory. When I made my appointment for Uruha and Ruki, I got booked with Jess. She impressed me because she asked which direction the strokes go for ルキ, so I asked for her this time 'round. I just may have to ask for Meg next time - she has one tattoo of Ruki smoking and two of him singing on her left leg, and on her right leg she's got zombie!Ruki munching on Kai's arm. Which she did herself.
