I got my copy the other day! And now I have managed to take a few (crappy) pics of the awesome photo book that came with the limited edition! The cover is gorgeous, btw, and I keep feeling like I'm falling into it!

The DVD has been released and sent out into the wild, and it actually reached the #1 spot on the Oricon chart! From what I could understand of the article, it's the first time for the GazettE, so congratulations to the boys!!! :D

What also happened, of course, is that a whole bunch of screen cap pics were posted online, and I think Mad Marble Hell Vision was first with their pics here on Facebook. These pictures then flooded Tumblr, as expected, and then...

A wild rip appeared. I used patience. It wasn't very effective. It countered with lure, and so I now have a low quality rip of the DVDs on my computer! Do you want one of your own? Here! (Thanks to sp4ceboys for the work! ♥)

I wonder what the photo book looks like. I haven't seen any pics of it yet. They'll show up soon, I guess. :D

Well, it's all over now, and it seems like it was a success? A new tour announcement, covers for the Omega DVDs, an actual date for Division (August 29th), and, most importantly of all, some very shiny new outfits that include the the return of The Thigh! :D

First, a quick clip from Summer Sonic to start things off:

You can see the Remember the Urge outfits in action here (unlike in the PV...) and they look really good! Much better in action, IMO, especially Uruha...

Which (sort of) brings me to my main point - lives! There have been many of them, and we all have our favourites, so what's yours? Personally, I'm very fond of RCE, if only because of Sugar Pain... Feel free to spam this post with pics and videos to make a case for yours! :)

This is something I like to do once in a while, comparing live versions of certain songs. I do it because I find it fascinating to see both the similarities and the differences, to see how the GazettE has developed, both in their skills and in their stage personas/performances.

A song I really love, and that they play often on their lives is Akai One Piece, from their very first single. It's a good song, and they always seem to have a lot of fun while playing it, and that is important to me as well.

So, here are two versions, one very early, from Heisei Banka (2004) and from Tokyo Dome (2010). The Heisei Banka clip goes on longer than the song, so stop it at 4.30, when the song ends, and watch the TD version directly after... :D

So, it's the last of the Abyss/Lucy fanclub only concerts today. I hope the people who're able to go have a brilliant time, and honestly, how could they not?! *grin*

Because of this, I thought it suitable to post Abyss/Lucy Uruha! Uruha, lace, dark hair, leather and pvc! Click the picture for a larger version.

This is definitely a magazine scan, but I have not been able to find out from which magazine (and it's driving me crazy that I don't have the whole article), so I have no idea where it's from or who the original uploader or scanning person is, sorry.

It was probably from the first of the Abyss/Lucy concerts, though, before the earthquake/tsunami disaster struck Japan.

He looks really different in dark hair, doesn't he? I like it, though! He's always a very gorgeous man.

I've had a request (yay!) for a Gaze-costumes through the times kind of post, but since that will take me a bit of time to put together, I thought I'd post some simpler things in the meantime. Like this. I happen to know that a few people I know will appreciate this particular picture. :D Click the picture for a bigger version.

The t-shirts they're wearing makes me believe this is after the Hesei Banka concert. Sadly, they didn't include the handholding and jump on the DVD. :( Not sure where the picture is from at all (magazine, original uploader, etc), sorry.

I mentioned in comments to the first post, the one with the Vortex picture, that I miss the old Reita-hair. So, I felt like posting a pic of it. :)

This is probably from the Maximum Royal Disorder final, or at least one of the concerts in that tour. It's a magazine scan, but I have no idea who's scanned it, sorry. I found it on tumbler, so it's probably wandered around the net without credit for a while. Click for a bigger version.

So, what do you think of the old Reita hair - the fauxhawk, the spikes, etc - and how do you feel about his new, almost-never-changing look? (That was a leading question, wasn't it? Sorry!) Oh, and isn't Uruha's smile just adorable? They both look so happy. :D
