The incredibly awesome miss [livejournal.com profile] sweetlolixo has been kind enough to rip her copy of the world tour DVD to share it with us all! :D

Go to her post for download links, and don't forget to thank her for her effort! (It takes a lot of time to do all of this, and to upload so many segments, so she's worth all the praise and love!)

I got an email yesterday saying my copy was shipped, but it'll take some time before it arrives. And I'm so not going to wait for it before watching this! How about you? Excited yet?

The wonderful and kind keigazerock on Tumblr has translated and subbed the Fuji TV Decade documentary and put it up on YouTube for us all to watch! Speaking for myself, I have found it frustrating to watch it and only understand a word here and there, so it was really nice to be able to see what they were saying, and what others said about the band. :D

More under the cut! )

What are your thoughts? Do you have any specific feels now that you know what they're saying? Comments? :D Please let me know I'm not alone in watching this and adoring them all!

The DVD has been released and sent out into the wild, and it actually reached the #1 spot on the Oricon chart! From what I could understand of the article, it's the first time for the GazettE, so congratulations to the boys!!! :D

What also happened, of course, is that a whole bunch of screen cap pics were posted online, and I think Mad Marble Hell Vision was first with their pics here on Facebook. These pictures then flooded Tumblr, as expected, and then...

A wild rip appeared. I used patience. It wasn't very effective. It countered with lure, and so I now have a low quality rip of the DVDs on my computer! Do you want one of your own? Here! (Thanks to sp4ceboys for the work! ♥)

A few teasers for you:

Moar!!! )
I wonder what the photo book looks like. I haven't seen any pics of it yet. They'll show up soon, I guess. :D

So, did you order a copy, and if so, which version? Are you waiting impatiently for it still? I envy the people who've already received it.

A little while ago, [livejournal.com profile] _lamiai_ was very kind to rip and post subtitles for the TD concert DVD in a GazettE comm on LJ, and I downloaded them, just so I could have subs on the computer too, and not just on my DVD.

However, something was very wrong with the subs for the second disc, in that they simply didn't show up. The original uploader gave advice about naming the files the same and all that usual stuff. But the subtitles still didn't show up.

When I had a closer look at the file, I realised why: the timing of each line was set to well after the actual avi file (or DVD disc) had ended! The first line was set to play at 1 hour 25-something minutes, and that is after it's all over. (The first part had some minor timing problems as well.)

So, since I am stubborn like this and wanted my subtitles, I went through the entire file and corrected this, and I also found about 25-30 lines that were missing. So I added those. There are still a few things that Ruki says that aren't translated, but they're not on the DVD either. :( I also took the liberty of correcting a few things. My Japanese is very bad, so far, but even I know that "stando" is not translated to "tribune", "Ride with Rockers!" not to "Let's go, Tokyo!", and so on... I also really couldn't let the translated phrase "Strut your stuff" stay. It made Ruki and Kai and Reita sound like they were trying to be John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever, or something. On my RCE DVD those exact words in Japanese were translated to "Show us what you've got!" so I switched them to that instead. I hope this is okay with you.

A big thank you to [personal profile] zabimitsuki for helping me test the files and point out where more corrections were needed. :)

Anyway, after all this rambling: here are the corrected subtitle files for the Tokyo Dome concert in case anyone else wants them!

TD subs Disc 1

TD subs Disc 2

(Change xx to tt and the links will work fine.)
