gazette_fans | Favourite PVs?

As we're still waiting impatiently for the Vortex PV to come out (or is that just me?), I thought it might be fun to discuss some of our favourite PVs and, well, squee. Loudly. XD

Obvious choice this, but Uruha is SO. SHINY. And purple. And showing off huge amounts of thigh. :D I'm sure the waiter look appeals to a hell of a lot of fangirls as well. ;)

Creepy ballerina is creepy. *nods* I adore Ruki's look here, especially the lace gloves. *sigh* ~~The less said about Uruha's trousers the better, because those things are pretty much lime green when you see them unfiltered. O_o~~

So, what do you think? Feel free to post links to your favourites and witter on at length about them in the comments. You never know, they might be shiny and new to some of the other members. ;)

Appropriate icon is appropriate. :D I like Silly God Disco too! Apart from the girl... but ah well. Uruha is so so pretty here! I do love him in purple, and with that floppy hair plus extensions! Ruki's feather boa is fun too!

Distress and Coma is such a lovely song, and the PV is very nice. Even though, yes, the ballerina is creepy. It's the jerky movements, I think. ~~Like Sadako.~~ But oh Uruha... those trousers... They're very lime green, with black swirls... Um. Yeah.

Ruki in gloves is always a very nice thing! And the lace ones are gorgeous. :) It's kind of cool too with how they filmed it, with the outside and inside thing...

My problem with the girl is that she looks so miserable! If you're being waited on by the Gazeboys, you can at least crack a smile! O_o

It's kind of an odd one, in that I love how it looks and I adore the song, but... It can creep the hell out of me. XD I guess it's kind of like Mad Marble in that respect? I have a kind of horrified fascination? And I do hope that someone had words with Uruha over those trousers. Really. XD

It's like his trademark? XD Uruha's lace gloves in Guren are gorgeous as well... Maybe I just have a thing for them?

LOL She does!!! Almost angry in some scenes! I do like me some Gazeboys in suits, too. :) (Makes me think a bit of Chizuru.)

Mmmm, yes, those fingerless gloves are really yummy too. Lace is very sexy. Maybe it's that it's a bit of a taboo thing with lace on men? (These days, I mean, because hell, in the 18th century France, for instance, men were all over the lace! LOL) Anyway, it looks very good on them!

Possibly? Would that explain Pledge's shoulder pads as well? :P

Hmm, you could be right there. Lace is seen as pretty feminine now, right? But it looks so, so good on them!

So... my faves? Um, it changes depending on day of the week, or something. My mood, maybe. ;)

The Invisible Wall is one PV that I often get the urge to watch, because it's so damn pretty, and also the song is so good. :) I like the two looks of Ruki in it, and of course, his pretty, pretty gloves. Uruha is wearing tight, red trousers here and I like them muchly. And Kai in longer, shaggy hair!!! Yum! They wore the same outfits for the DIM Scene DVD, just that Kai then also had the snazzy braids. :D ~~Let's not dwell too long on the Engrish, though, okay?~~

The song/PV that made me discover the GazettE, Hyena, is still one that I love! I love both the song and the awesome PV. I find it amusing that they've had to put the guys in a cage to protect them from the MALE fans going crazy over them and flinging their shirts at them. :D And I want Uruha's jacket (minus the puffy shoulders) and his awesome ~~thigh~~ trousers. I like Ruki's attitude, and I found Reita fascinating when I first watched this... And also, this was when I began to find Kai's drumming really awesome too. He does have a unique style that is really cool and... elegant. :)

I have so many that I kind of keep forgetting them! XD I should've said Cockroach as well, for example, and Red.

Just admit it, you love it because of the finger licking! :P So pretty though. Artsy too, with the red and blue... ~~Too late! XD~~

Elegant? Really? :3 *pets him* Just think though, if the metal cage only just kept the male fans away from them, what would they need to defend themselves from the girls?

Does Uruha have a thing for puffy sleeves or something?

I knoooooow! It's almost impossible to choose two or three favourites, and would be completely impossible to choose just one. I adore Cockroach! The song is awesome and bouncy and catchy, and the PV is fun! And Ruki is all sorts of awesome as The Mad Hatter or something. *g*

Mmm finger licking! Haha, well, there's something so intense over his face in those closeups, and I love the jewellery worn outside the gloves... and the traditional Japanese interior but in that vivid red and gold. It's just stunning! :) And Uruha is very pretty. *cough*

~~Damn. Maybe we can forget it? It's sort of charming in a facepalm-y way, the way Ruki keeps writing lyrics in Engrish, dead serious.~~

LOL Oh dear. Well, they do actually survive concerts, even in smaller places than Tokyo Dome, so maybe the female fans don't try to rip them to shreds?

I have a weird love for all things Alice in Wonderland, so Mad Hatter!Ruki appealed to me a lot. XD ~~Sexier than Johnny Depp, anyway. ;P~~

Serious!Ruki is singing a Serious song? ;) I'll never argue about Uruha being pretty. Never. XD

You have seen how much security Ruki needs to walk near to the crowd, right? If any of those girls got their hands on him, it'd be a massacre!

Good choice! :D I adore Red, everyone looks so pretty! It's one of the few PVS where I genuinely like everyone's outfit. And Ruki's sparkly suit leaves nothing to the imagination. *purrs*

Yes! It's really brilliant, isn't it? :) And Ruki is so, so... SPARKLY!!! LOL

This was the first PV I showed my mum... and she very much approved of it! She likes bling. And Ruki is the epitome of bling in this PV! *g* Then I showed her Shiver, and she was like... "I think he looked better with the streaks on his neck." LOL I was surprised actually.

I've only seen them all once through, a couple of them maybe I've seen twice... so I can't pick a favorite one yet. darn, this means I need to watch them all again ;)

I will say, though, that I didn't like Mad Marble...
