Charts!

So, it's the time for all those yearly charts and stuff like that to be put together and posted, you know? CD-Japan has now put their stats up for the year, and apart from the specific J-pop, Visual Kei, anime cd, soundtracks, etc, etc, they also have the "all" list...

On third place on the "all" list, we find the Limited Edition of the GazettE's DIVISION!



On 12th place, guess what we find there? Yep, the Limited Edition of the GazettE's OMEGA DVD!



Isn't that just awesome? :D

(The regular edition of DIVISION is on 26th place, btw.)

That is AWESOME. CD Japan is a global site, so that means GazettE is more popular than all other Asian arists, save for a single J-pop girl group, around the planet. That is a HUGE achievement, especially with so many people saying, "J-rock is dead, long live K-pop!"

(Of course, this will only encourage Ruki to produce more super-mega-expensive sets).

It is!!! :D I am especially happy that they beat AKB48 actually, since so many people go "they're the most popular group and sell the most blah blah" (and they are so bad, imo). And hey! Arashi is not above them either! (Except for on the 12th place, but hey, that's not bad, since *they* are fucking multi-million-huge! *g*) Oh, and this also means they beat Dir en Grey. :D Hehehhhhehehehehehehehehehe hehehehehe hehe!

(It will! But... if it means more people buy their stuff and make them more well-known? I forgive him! *g*)

They also beat SHINee and BigBang and all those other interchangeable Korean boy bands I keep seeing all over my dash. (One of them has a member named Kai, of all things. A couple of times when Tumblr has been slow to load pictures, I've gotten my hopes up when I've seen a heading like "New shirless Kai picture - only to say "Aww, dammit!" when the picture loaded.)

True! They did! :D Luckily I don't see many Korean boy bands on my dash! It's mostly the GazettE! :D (Aww, that sounds annoying! :( That reminds me of the tags on the AO3 archive... there's a tag called "Kai (musician)" and one "Aoi (musician)" too, and I keep lol-ing that the tag wranglers seem to think that makes it any clearer! There are more than one Kai and Aoi musician! *g*)
