So, the GazettE held the 13th Anniversary live at Budokan on the 10th of March, and according to reports, they had built a staircase with 13 steps on it, and they opened the live by playing 13Stairs. :) They announced that 2015 will be a busy year: they're kicking off Project Dark Age with tours and a brand new album, called Dogma!

After the encores, they played one of the songs from the upcoming album.

The band is now 13 years old, leaving childhood behind and stepping into the teenage years! ;)

So, the GazettE has just put up a picture of their new look on their website, the look for their 13th anniversary live at Budokan. (Which, apparently, was sold out in 1 minute, btw!)

Aoi is still not back on Twitter, even though he is cheating his hiatus by constantly editing his profile bio with little messages, sometimes several times a day. But, in his absence, apparently Reita has decided to join the tweeters!

Reita has opened a Twitter account, and you can find it here if you want to follow him. :D

Of course, one of the first things he did was to upload a pic of himself. From chest down to thighs. pic under the cut )

So, Reita-fans, rejoice! :|D

So, today was the final of the Magnificent Malformed Box tour: CODA. Sadly, imo, they did not play Sugar Pain, even though they have played it several times during the tour, so my wish to see that on the DVD is crushed. *sniff* (Full set list here! And a pic of some of the tour goods here.) Apparently, there was no pamphlet for the final! o.o They hadn't made a pretty pamphlet/photo book!!! :( This surprises me, I have to say, and I wonder what the reason for that was.

But, as always, they revealed a lot of cool stuff:

* A DVD of the final, to be released May 21
* In March, a Heresy only standing live tour, starting on the band's birthday, called Nameless Liberty Disorder Heaven
* During the summer, Pulse Wriggling to DIM Scene tour
* And in the autumn, another live tour called Groan of Venomous Cell

Looks like the themes of these tours will be their old albums, starting in March with Disorder and NIL songs.

So, the band will be busy as always! I hope they don't get overworked, and will find some time to also rest and have fun outside doing band things. :D

And now I wait impatiently for the release of the World Tour DVD... soooon! :) Did any of you preorder it? Anyone planning on buying the CODA DVD?

They have released a 30 second spot for the new album as well as some promo shots!

Pics of the other members under the cut )

So, what do you think? I know I am swooning over Uruha's new look, because CORSET! :D I am intrigued by the BDSM theme in the spot... but it also scares me a little because I know it will lead to a lot of abuse-fic masked as BDSM being posted all over the internet. LOL

Anyway, comment and tell us what your thoughts are! :D

The GazettE are very busy on their tour outside Japan, and have so far played in Mexico, Chile, And Argentina now. I think the setlist has been the same in all lives, so far, which sort of makes sense to me. Safe songs, songs that people already know, that are good for interaction with the audience, and that the band can play in their sleep. We don't get to hear the songs from the new single, but we get them in the Fadeless outfits. :D

So, yesterday Uruha represented the band in an interview made by Radio Vorterix in Argentina. He was asked about the music, about visual kei, if they go to lives themselves, about their outfits, and much more.

The link to the video is here. And now a very kind soul, kiirochan, on Tumblr has translated the interview! You can find it here.

I watched this last night and I was thrilled at the bits I understood (Damn! my Japanese studies are actually starting to pay off! Wooohooo! I actually understood a few bits here and there! :D ), but I was afraid to say anything too loud in case I'd totally misheard and misunderstood... But.

They're filming the whole experience of the tour and it's going to be on DVD!!! :D

YAY!!! *insert flaily Kermit here*

Yes, please, GazettE! Take all my money!!! :D And from what I've seen from pictures, where staff can be seen with vid cams in their hands, it's a good chance there will be some backstage stuff too. :D

(Now we just need someone to grab that interview vid and put it on YouTube, or make it downloadable. *g* Because I want to listen to Uruha's voice over and over, and melt from his smiles too...)

Fadeless is going to be released on the 21st, so we don't have to wait that much longer!

There's a preview (pre-listen?) out of all the songs on the single on SonyMusic, if you would like to get a sneak peek...

If you haven't already preordered a copy, and want to do so, you can do it on YesAsia or CDJapan. As you may know, there's two versions - the regular with three songs (includes the Forbidden Beaver), and the limited with only two songs (no Beaver) but with a DVD with the Fadeless PV.

Wow, it's been quiet around here. Gomen! RL has been mean to us all. So I bring news!

It has been announced that the GazettE will be performing at "SUMMER SONIC2013", that will be held on 10th and 11th of August. Following the performance in 2011, it's the second time for the GazettE to be performing at SUMMER SONIC.

Summer Festival Performance in Japan, Festival Performance in Russia, and then, the WORLD TOUR... Seems like it's going to be a hot summer for the GazettE.

The GazettE have just announced that there will be a world tour! Just like they've promised in interviews recently, like the J-Melo one, they will come to at least a few places near their international fans! :)

From their official homepage:

the GazettE WORLD TOUR13

9/6 Jose Cuervo Salon@Mexico City(MEXICO)
9/8 Teatro Caupolican@Santiago(CHILE)
9/11 Teatro Vorterix@Buenos Aires(ARGENTINA)
9/14 A Seringueira@Sao Paulo(BRAZIL)
9/20 Le Trianon@Paris(FRANCE)
9/22 Le Phare@Toulouse(FRANCE)
9/25 FZW@Dortmund(GERMANY)
9/27 Muffathalle@Munich(GERMANY)
9/29 The Circus@Helsinki(FINLAND)

I know it's a shame they're not coming to more places and that a lot of fans are left having to travel far to get to see them... But it's still awesome, right? So, please don't be *that* fan and start complaining to Ruki or Aoi on Twitter that they're evil for not coming to your city/country, m'kay? Aoi has already had to deal with a lot of hate after this announcement, and really, how much abuse can a man take before he completely sours on the fans and his job as a musician?

Let's just squee about this for a while! And who knows, maybe this means they will do it again soon, and then come to more/other countries, and then more people will know about them! :D

Well, not live live, as in broadcast as it's happening, because it was taped ages ago. But! we get the GazettE playing five songs on J-Melo today/tomorrow (depending on timezones)!

Because they won the Most Requested Artist Award, they get a spot on the J-Melo special. :) Here is a page showing the broadcast schedule of programs on NHK World, and at the top you can change it to your own time zone! :D

Oh and you can watch NHK World here! J-Melo will be broadcast several times during the day, so if you miss one spot, there might be another that you can catch.

According to a page on the NHK site, they're going to play Derangement, Vortex, Kagefumi, Required Malfunction, and Filth in the Beauty.

Happy watching! \m/^_^\m/

Just a little bit of news...

the GazettE's new DVD release, The Decade, reached the third place on the weekly Oricon chart!

Also, it seems like the guys are planning a new release... Ruki has posted on his Twitter about recording meetings, and he's also changed his hairstyle a few days ago. (Which usually only happens when there's a new style coming up.) Translation of his tweet can be found here. Aoi has also reported that now it's just easy work where he just has to sit around... :)

And, finally, apparently Aoi's drinking buddies surprised him with an early celebration of his birthday. Info from Seiichi Hoshiko's (VisualKei Oyaji) FB, translated here.

So, it's the time for all those yearly charts and stuff like that to be put together and posted, you know? CD-Japan has now put their stats up for the year, and apart from the specific J-pop, Visual Kei, anime cd, soundtracks, etc, etc, they also have the "all" list...

On third place on the "all" list, we find the Limited Edition of the GazettE's DIVISION!

On 12th place, guess what we find there? Yep, the Limited Edition of the GazettE's OMEGA DVD!

Isn't that just awesome? :D

(The regular edition of DIVISION is on 26th place, btw.)

There's finally been some information released about The Decade DVD, like covers for the regular and the limited editions, and what will be included.

From what kind people have translated, it seems like the bonus items in the limited edition are: Document The Decade and an audio record of the live! I have to admit that I squeed loudly when I saw this. LOL

Info and pics on the official homepage here! :D

I am excited! Are you?

Sweet, sweet news!

Apparently it has been announced that the Decade live from March 10, 2012 is going to be released on DVD! Look forward to it arriving on January 9, 2013! :D

The final for the Diplosomia tour is going to be held at the Saitama Super Arena. Can we hope for a DVD of that as well? *makes grabby hands*
